According to the American Lung Association (ALA), there are two steps to keep the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in your house clean, “first, keep pollution out. Here are some tips that the ALA provided on how to ventilate clean dirty air indoors:

  • Use exhaust fans in bathrooms to remove moisture and gases from the house.
  • Fit your kitchen with an exhaust fan that moves the air to the outside, and not to use vent less stoves.
  • Have gas or oil stoves, dryers or water heaters inspect by qualifying technicians once a year.
