Hero Program

If you had any new years resolutions to make your home more energy efficient and to do your part in helping California go green, it might be a good idea to check out the HERO program before beginning any home improvement projects. HERO is a local government sponsored financing program that makes qualified home improvement projects quick and affordable. Since its introduction in Riverside County in 2011, the HERO program has helped residents easily achieve their home renovation dreams with no out of pocket cost! And now the program is expanding across California to help others in search of making their homes more energy efficient.

So how does the HERO program work? Here is an example; lets say you want to reduce the amount of AC usage in your home to save on energy cost without sacrificing comfort.  You’ve probably been in that situation before. It’s a hot summer day, you turn on the air conditioner to provide some relief and cool your home but the thought of how high the next utility bill will be makes you cringe. You do some research and find out that with the installation of whole house fans, such as the QuietCool fan lineup(learn more about QuietCool here) have been proven to reduce A/C cost by 50%-90%!

“That’s great! I want a QuietCool fan for my house!” you tell yourself. But you don’t necessarily have the money to pay for one upfront. That’s when the HERO program comes to the rescue.

The best way to get started is by setting up an appointment with us and we will guide you through the quick, easy   sign up process and answer any questions. We’ll install your whole house fans and you enjoy the extra money you save when you see your utility bill cut by installing the QuietCool fans. We do more than just whole house fan installs  such as central air conditioning installs, furnaces, heat pumps and energy audits. All of which are covered in the HERO program.

The HERO program finances your home improvement projects; you make the payments on your projects with your property taxes. And if you decide to sell your home any remaining balance is passed on to the buyers of your house.

This amazing program was limited to just a few California counties but now it is available across the state. Check to see if your city qualifies.
